CABARETE LANGUAGE Institute

An international team at your service

Founded in 2007 Cabarete Language Institute was created to bring high quality and personalized language instruction to the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Since then CLI has taught Spanish, English, French to hundreds of people from around the world.

Through our Opportunities in English program we have had the opportunity to teach English to dozens of Dominicans who otherwise probably would not have had the chance to learn English at all.

We cater to a diverse set of students. We have taught many children as little as age 5. We have done many intensive English programs for Dominicans and other foreigners getting ready to move to the US or another English speaking country. Kiteboarders and surfers looking for something extra to do on their vacation love CLI’s ability to work with them to create a schedule that makes sense to them.

Come visit the Dominican Republic and have fun learning a new language at CLI.

They trusted us

Cabarete is a really great place to learn Spanish; there are a lot of things to do, so you’ll never get bored. Patricia is a really great teacher, not only does she teach really really good, but she can also tell you a lot about Cabarete and everyday life in Latin America and Spain as well. Isaac Manages the CLI really professionally from first contact, e-mail, information, payment process etc. Really had a great time! I’d highly recommend CLI to everyone who wants to learn Spanish in a really fun place!

Patricia is a really, really nice teacher. She made the school like having fun! Also she was not just our teacher but also became a friend and introduced us to her friends as well. So, we spent great karaoke evenings at voyvoy or at yoga sessions on the roof top. I loved the games, Live “Domino”, “Fruit/vegetable-monkey” or “Oca Loca”.
